This is not an official Forward Party Page.  It's one person's take on what it means to be a Human Centered party.

FORWARD PARTY - THE HUMAN-CENTERED PARTY

Americans can fix ANY problem – with compromise.  We firmly believe that more unites us than divides us.  However the rigid, one-size-fits-all platforms of the major political parties have drifted toward the fringes.  The platforms have become more important than solutions that meet the real needs of voters.  That’s why Forward is approaching “platform” differently.  We stand for doing, not dividing. We reject the rigidity of the far Left and far Right and finding common ground.  We stand for policies that are HUMAN CENTERED, based on the needs of people, not adherence to a rigid set of ideas:

• Human Centered Democracy – reforming our elections to give voters more choices in elections, more control, and parties less control
• Human Centered Capitalism – ensuring every American can benefit from a fair, flourishing economy and open society where everyone can live a good life and is safe in the places where we learn, work, and live.
• Human Centered Governance – basing policy debates and legislation on their human impact, not how they fit into a rigid ideology

Working together, we can change elections to give voters more control, ensure everyone benefits from our economy and that policy debates and legislation are based on their human impact.  Working together, we can reach the compromises that will help our country move forward.
